From time to time, I accept a limited number of commissions for original Shikishi Artwork. Commissions are available to both private individuals and businesses.

Most works are created using sumi ink and traditional Japanese pigments (gansai).

Announcements regarding commission openings, availability, and detailed information will be posted on Instagram, X, and our official LINE account.

Even when commissions are not officially open, I may occasionally be able to accept requests under similar conditions, so please feel free to contact me.

Due to the size of the shikishi board, artwork is generally limited to a single animal or subject.

Please note that some themes may not be suitable for my artistic style, and I may decline certain requests. Feel free to contact me first to discuss your idea.

Shipping costs are not included.

Framing Options

• Japanese natural cedar frame (Kyushu cedar): ¥6,500

• Acrylic frame: ¥5,000

• Acrylic frame for card-size shikishi: ¥1,500

Other framing options may also be available.

Please note that frame designs and specifications may change depending on availability.

How to Request a Commission​

1. Contact Us

Please send your request via Instagram message or the contact form on the Tamayura-an website, including details about your desired artwork.

2. Consultation

I will reply to discuss your request. Once the commission details have been finalized, customers requesting shipping will be asked to provide a delivery address.

3. Payment

I will calculate the shipping cost, provide the total amount, and send you a secure online payment link.

Your commission will be officially confirmed once payment has been received.

Please note that if discussions take several days and another customer confirms a commission before yours is finalized, your request may be placed later in the queue.

4. Production Period

Please allow approximately one month for completion.

As each piece is original artwork, production may occasionally take longer than expected. An estimated completion date will be provided when your commission is accepted.

5. Rough Sketch Approval

Before beginning the final artwork, I will send you a rough sketch for approval of the composition and overall design.

6. Final Confirmation

Once the artwork is complete, I will send photographs for your review.

Please note that revisions are generally not available after completion.

7. Delivery

The completed artwork will be shipped to you.

If you prefer to collect your artwork in person, please let me know your planned visit date.
