Biography

Graduated from the Department of Design (Evening Division) at Tama Art University, specializing in User Interface Design and Information Design.

After graduation, worked for two years at a UI design company before becoming an independent freelance illustrator and designer.

Until 2006, served as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Information Design at Tama Art University, teaching Information Design as well as computer graphics courses using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

In 2007, began working as an illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

In November 2022, opened DesignWorks tamayura-an, a combined gallery shop and studio in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan.

At tamayura-an, handmade accessories and original goods are offered for sale, while the studio produces a wide range of artwork, including shikishi art created using sumi-e and traditional Japanese painting techniques, washi paper collage art, digital paintings, and illustrations. Design services such as flyers, websites, and logo design are also provided.
