We are now accepting commissions for shikishi (decorative paper board) art.

Application period: February 9, 2026 - April 30, 2026 Limited quantity: 4 items (one order per person) First-come, first-served basis

■Size: Standard size of shikishi (decorative paper board)

(272 × 242 mm)

Themes of the works: fictional animals, wild animals, pets, etc.

Due to the size of the artwork (shikishi), we will generally only be able to include one animal or other design.

Depending on the content, such as anthropomorphizing real animals, if the theme doesn't suit my art style, please let me know whether or not I can accept the commission.

Fee:

A: Pigments, Japanese painting colors 75,000 yen

B: Marker coloring 55,000 yen

■Card-sized (60 x 90 mm) art piece creation (15,000 yen)

We will create a card-sized shikishi (decorative paper board) using the same theme and art materials as the full-size shikishi.

(We do not accept orders for card-sized shikishi (decorative paper boards) only. Please order them together with a full-size shikishi.)

■ Framing Options

If you would like your artwork framed, please choose from the options below.

a. Domestic natural wood Kyushu cedar frame: 6,500 yen

b. Natural wood frame, oak color: 6,500 yen

c. Acrylic frame 5,000 yen

d. Card-sized Shikishi (decorative paper board) with acrylic frame: 1,500 yen

■ How to request

1. Please contact us via Instagram message or the email form on the Tamayura-an official website with the following information.

• Theme of the artwork (your preferred theme or animal, etc.)

・Coloring method (A / B)

- Whether or not you want the card-sized shikishi option (Yes/No)

・Framing preference (a / b / c / d / none)

• Delivery method (delivery / in-store pickup)

2. We will contact you back shortly.

Once we have discussed and finalized the details of your request, please let us know your delivery address if you require delivery.

3. We will calculate the shipping cost, inform you of the total amount, and send you a link for online payment. Your order will be confirmed after payment is received.

Please note that if our consultation takes several days, or if another client confirms their request before we can finalize it, your request will be placed at the bottom of the queue.

4. Please allow approximately one month for the artwork to be completed. (We will inform you of the approximate completion date when you place your order.)

5. Before the final production begins, we will send you a rough sketch so you can check the composition and other details of the artwork.

6. Once the artwork is complete, we will send you an image for your review. (Please note that revisions are generally not permitted.)

7. We will ship your order from here. If you prefer to pick it up at the store, please let us know your planned visit date.

(The shop is generally open on Saturdays and Sundays; on weekdays, please specify the date and time and make a reservation.)
